Emergency lighting

Emergency lighting and exit signs, tested and compliant.

What we do

  • Scheduled testing and inspections to suit your building’s compliance schedule
  • Replacing failed fittings, batteries and exit signs
  • Emergency lighting design and installation for new builds and fit-outs
  • Upgrading old fluorescent emergency fittings to LED
  • IQP inspections and reports for your Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF)
  • Clear reports with photos of anything that failed, and a quote to fix it

How it works

After each test we send you a report showing what passed, what failed and why, with photos. If something needs replacing, we quote it straight away so your building stays compliant and your tenants stay safe.

Most repairs are done in a single visit, after hours if that suits your tenants better.

Who we work with

Property managers, facilities managers, body corporates and building owners. See how we work with property managers.

Standards and paperwork

Testing and maintenance follow AS/NZS 2293.2, and escape-route lighting is covered by the NZ Building Code (clause F6). You get a written record for your building’s compliance schedule.

Questions we’re asked

How often does emergency lighting need testing?
It depends on your building’s compliance schedule. We’ll check it with you and set up the visits.

What happens if a light fails?
We replace the fitting, battery or sign, usually in the same visit, and retest it.

Can you test after hours?
Yes, if that suits your tenants better.
